NBSC FACULTY PRESENT RESEARCH AT NATIONAL TEACHER EDUCATION FORUM
Faculty members from Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) – Dr. Rolan L. Mancha and Dr. Mary Cris J. Go, Curriculum and Instruction Division Director – recently contributed to the national academic discourse at the State Universities and Colleges Teacher Educators Association (SUCTEA) National Conference and Research Presentation. The three-day event, held from September 22-24, 2025, at Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City, brought together educators from across the country to discuss the theme “Future-Proofing Teacher Education in the 21st Century.”
The conference served as a vital platform for educators, researchers, and policymakers to exchange ideas on innovation and the integration of technology in teaching. Both faculty members presented their research findings to a national audience of peers and experts.
Dr. Mancha presented his study titled, “Unveiling Meaning in Movement: A Phenomenological Study of Students’ Physical Activity Preferences.” Dr. Go, meanwhile, presented her paper titled, “Measuring Readiness for High-Stakes Assessments in Preservice Teachers: A Reliability Study.” Both research contributions showcased NBSC’s commitment to evidence-based pedagogical development across diverse academic strands.
By actively participating in this high-level national forum and sharing scholarly work, NBSC faculty members are reinforcing the institution’s role in shaping the country’s educational future. Their research contributions and intellectual engagement with national trends solidify NBSC’s commitment to generating knowledge and strengthening its capacity as a driving force for institutional relevance and academic development in the region.
